I had three meetings today, and I realized that the only people who talk are the ones who don’t know anything, because everybody else is just hoping the meeting will end so they can get back to work.
When will people realize that work sucks. It always does, it always will. No matter how much you love that “dream job”. There will always be some time that you wind up saying “Damn, why did I come to work today?” That’s why they call it “WORK” and not “Surf the web and read ACW all day”
well, doesn’t that mean you are making great money? The number of hours you spend in a meeting is equal to the wads of dough you make right? Or so it seems (that is why I could never be in management).
If not, it’s not worth it.
Hope your days are getting better.
PS - Referring to your current post, I hope you aren’t on hiatus too long, though I do appreciate the chance to catch up on all your posts.
Well, that sucks. Where I work, it’s not uncommon to having a pre-meeting to plan an upcoming meeting.
Here’s hoping they buy GOOD food for lunch
It’s a good thing there aren’t phone jacks or WiFi connections in the toilet… just imagine fielding conference calls while pinchin’ off a loaf…
Good luck with your busy day!
Baby.
Errghpffft. I feel your pain. Well, Okay….I *used* to feel your pain…..since my exit from the big bad law firm? Not anymore.
I think i’m going to eat that Microwave burrito and surf the net now….
ACW, welcome to my world. I’ll save you a chair.
hope you got double bean burritos for lunch.
Hope you enjoyed the nap.
It’s a great opportunity to try out that new technique of sleeping with your eyes open.

Hopefully you started each meeting by running into the room, laughing maniacally, and kicking someone in the chomes.
