The Not So Superbowl

Man, Sunday was a pain in my ass. First, I drove from my brother’s apartment in North Baltimore to my apartment in the city.

20 minutes.

Then I packed my clothes to stay at ACWF’s place that night, and then we drove down there.

30 minutes.

Then while we were at ACWF’s place my sister-in-law called to say that my mom and my aunt were taking her wedding dress shopping, and she wanted to know if ACWF would go with her for moral support.* That meant that I would have to wait around at the wedding store while dresses were tried on. Thrilling.

On top of that, we would have to rush to the dress store because it was almost 4pm, and the store closed at 5.

Luckily, they decided not to do the dress thing with us after all, so we went to my grandparent’s house to watch the superbowl.

30 minutes.

But not before we stopped at the scrapbooking store.

10 minutes.

The whole day felt like we never got any good momentum going. Start. Stop. Start. Stop. All. Damn. Day. Long.

When we finally got to the Superbowl, I started to feel sick, and I got some flu like symptoms. I came into work Monday anyway, because I didn’t want anyone to think I was hungover from the Superbowl. This is also why this post is lame, and humorless (kind of like the episode of the Simpson’s after the game).

Worst of all, my 5 years old cousin was trying to headbutt me, and I accidentally poked him in the eye with my thumb, and the Eagles lost. Boo.

I’m going to spend the rest of the day getting all my work done early so I can go home.

*The reason she’s my sister-in-law, but still needs to shop for a wedding dress is because she’s not from the US (cue ominous music) and my brother needed to marry her officially on the quick. Now that they’re married, they’re doing the whole wedding thing this year.

Marry, Sex, Friends- Friends Edition

Uggh. As much as it dismays me to do this category, I figured I should pick a show that almost everybody knew. So, instead of doing an Alf Edition, we’re doing a Friends edition.

Here’s mine-

Marry: Phoebe
Sex: Monica
Friends: Rachel

Because I feel that Monica would be insufferable to speak to, and Rachel is too damn crazy to be in any type of relationship with.

So, which of the six friends would you pick for what?
